“LA BADIOLA” rises over the lands that belonged to the “Abbey of St. Salvatore in Visiovallis” and later on, from X to XIV Century, to the “Abbey of St. Quentin of Spigno”. The Abbey’s patrimony was composed by the personal and feudal assets of the Aleramic Family. Part of the lands that built this heritage was situated on the right bank of Torrent Valla starting from the “Mulino” region (Mulino is a Water Mill) to the “Cavanna” district (where we are located today).

The house belonged to 5 brothers, members of one of the oldest families of the region, who only occasionally gathered here to celebrate festivities, holidays and special recurrencies with family and friends.

For this reason, the house represented at all times a place of joy, merriment and cheerfulness, home to singing, dancing and partying as well as card gaming and lawn bowling in the beautiful gardens. These walls never witnessed pain, mourning or arguing in many years.
The feeling of peacefulness and harmony that the house delivers at first sight persuaded us to buy it immediately. We then decided to keep the spirit and honour the vocation of this beautiful place to conviviality, using the house to welcome our friends and relatives and why not, also our unknown Guests.

Following a very recent conservative refurbishing of the house, we may now offer three beautiful double rooms, all including private bathrooms and comfortable period style furnishing. Each room opens to a welcoming small sitting room with library.
